Mavis Boucher is the sole proprietor of this business and brings over 20 years of experience and involvement within the criminal justice system. She also has over 8 years of experience working with front-line community service organizations that provide services to hard-target, at-risk street entrenched children and youth and vulnerable, marginalized adults. This experience helps bring a trauma-informed practice and wraparound care for your clients with a strong referral network throughout BC and across Canada.
There has always been a gap in legal administrative services – particularly to lawyers who only accepted clients through Legal Aid. Often, these lawyers could not afford full-time legal administrative support. In some situations, a client can't afford lawyer services on a retainer or need someone to help with their case but still want their information or documents reviewed, drafted and organized before meeting with a lawyer. I strive to provide my clients with the best possible service at affordable rates.
I offer a wide range of secretarial services including typing, data entry, appointment scheduling, email management, and more. I am also skilled with the Legal Aid BC online portal for verification of charges, add charges, authorizations, drafting e-billing and authorizations. I can also assist with and verification of information and referrals for criminal client needs. I am skilled in various areas of law including criminal, family, wills & estates, small claims or civil. My rate packages are designed to help those that need help the most.

Standard office hours are 9am to 5pm - Monday to Friday. Price is the monthly rate and includes GST & PST.
Up to 5 hours per month
Up to 10 hours per month
Up to 15 hours per month. Great for growing practices & setting up efficient systems to manage your practice.
Up to 20 hours per month. Perfect for busy solo practices.
Up to 30 hours per month. Perfect for growing practices with increased monthly volume.
Up to 40 hours per month. This package is a perfect fit for legal practices with a higher call volume and monthly tasks.
Up to 60 hours per month. Great for high call volume, high monthly task volume and multi-lawyer practices.
These are un-bundled services for one time requests or emergency after-business hour / weekend requests.
Variety of administrative services - contact me to discuss. Example: Do you need assistance with printing electronic disclosure? Price is the hourly rate plus the cost of paper at LABC tariff rate for disbursements.
Example: Printing and binding of case law books but Staples is closed.
This is perfect for creating space and getting rid of those pesky boxes full of documents. The documents are prepared for scanning, documents are scanned into PDF and indexed. You provide the USB or I can upload to your Cloud.
